If you’re visiting for the first time, welcome — I’m glad you’re here. I’m Lama, a Residential Planner with a passion for interior design. I started this blog to help people make sense of interior design and create homes they are genuinely happy in. That passion led me into Islamic design, because I wanted to show the world the beauty of Islam through the lens of interior design — and it led me to create Arabic calligraphy stencils at a time when nothing like that existed.

Now I’m coming back to where my heart started: interior design, but bigger and better.

Am I an interior designer? Not officially. I work purely on the decorative and planning side — think space planning, furniture selection, color schemes, decor, and materials and finishes. A licensed interior designer can go further: making structural changes, pulling permits, producing construction documents, and coordinating with contractors on building work. That’s not what I do — but when it comes to transforming how your home looks and feels without touching the structure, that’s exactly where I thrive.
