I realize that the bookcase itself needs a makeover; paint, and styling. But I wanted to show you that you don’t have to go that far to update the look in your space. A simple re-arrangement of accessories (from around your home) is enough to accomplish that.

AsSalamu Alaikum Lama, I really like the first photo with The 100 names of Allah swt and I think it might also look nice with the 2 candles on the left side of the picture instead of the plant. I love the broken glass lantern thing. I also wouldn’t want to add a center piece as it would block the names, but I think a horizontal incense stick holder would be nice. I spy a Moroccan artisan plate – nice! I think it’s great that you have a small book shelf in your family room and will think about doing that as well. As of now I only have my Quran (on a wood holder) on top of a small Moroccan table, the rest of my Islamic book collection is in the office and not as easily accessible.
